The Bank of Ghana notified the general public that from July 1st, 2022, the Ghana Card will be the accepted ID for all bank transactions.
To enable their cherished customers to link their Ghana cards without them visiting the bank, the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) has sent messages to their customers with link to update their details
Follow the steps below to link your Ghana Card to your Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) Account .
- Visit https://epay.gcbltd.com:200/
- Select “Link My Card” to link your Ghana Card to your account.
- Enter your Bank Account Number and choose “continue“
- Choose account
- Pick an option to receive an OTP code either via Email or Phone Number
- Key in the OTP code to verify and authenticate
- Enter the Personal ID Number on the Ghana Card for verification
- Take your ID photo using your phone/laptop camera
- Give the last 2 amounts for the transactions of the account number
- Follow the steps to merge
Also to check the status of your Ghana Card Linkage to your bank account, select “Check Card Linkage Status”. Enter the Personal ID Number on the Ghana Card and follow the procedures to check the status.
NB: Customers of the various banks can go to the nearest branches to update their details.
